In the series opening episode "Dulcinea" (101), Earther Amos Burton carried his ID badge and wore his devil pin while performing his duties as a maintenance mechanic working under Naomi Nagata on the freighter Canterbury. He wore his devil pin on his various costumes until it was lost when he surrendered it to the UN Prison guard in the episode "Gaugamela" (504). In the series finale "Babylon's Ashes" (606), he received a custom-made devil pin from Clarissa Mao to replace the one he lost when rescuing her on Earth. In the episode "Why We Fight" (605), a stumbling drunk Amos Burton carried his alcohol bottle away from the bar on Ceres when he bumped into a seated Bobbie Draper who was drinking her whisky solo.
