A 'The Doors' album cover from Oliver Stone’s 1991 music biopic, The Doors.

The film follows the story of the legendary and influential 1960’s psychedelic rock band The Doors. Primarily focusing on the lead singer and composer Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer), from his early days as an aspiring film maker at UCLA, to the birth of The Doors, to his untimely death in Paris at the age of 27.

The album cover can be seen when Morrison (Kilmer) meets rock journalist and witchcraft enthusiast Patricia Kennealy (Kathleen Quinlan). The pair go to Morrision’s home where they use the album cover as a surface to cut lines of cocaine.

This album cover is an exact replica of the original The Doors debut album released on January 4th 1967. The front and back cover features the actors who play the roles of the band members in the film, posing in the same manner as the original line up; Jim Morrison (Kilmer), Ray Manzarek (Kyle MacLachlan), Robby Kreiger (Frank Whaley), and John Densmore (Kevin Dillon). All details printed on the back of the record are the same as the original, including the tracks, the band line-up, the record label details and details of those involved in the album production.

There are some very minor scuffs and marks, mainly around the edges of the cover, but otherwise it remains in excellent production-used condition.
