A costume worn in the production of post-apocalyptic action film The Book of Eli. Walking across the barren wastes on a secret mission, the mysterious warrior Eli (Denzel Washington) battles for survival against cannibals and the elements. But when the despotic Carnegie (Gary Oldman) finds out Eli is in possession of a bible – the last in existence – he will stop at nothing to get his hands on it.
This style of costume was worn by Eli throughout the film on his pilgrimage through the desert. The costume is composed of a pair of brown combat trousers, a white undershirt, an olive green sweater, a green parka and a grey and black shemagh scarf. The entire costume has been distressed for use with plenty of wear applied, and the white undershirt has blood stains and a bullet hole for use in the scenes after he is shot by Carnegie towards the end of the film.

Well used on the production, the costume remains in very good condition. The sweater is marked as a size 3XL, the T-shirt a size extra large, with the trousers and parka unsized.
