John Steed's (Patrick Macnee) bowler hat from Sydney Newman's series The Avengers with a photo autographed by Macnee. Secret agent Steed wore his signature bowler hat in various colours throughout the series as part of his signature suit. The series gained a cult following, airing in over 90 countries by the end of its run, and launched a sequel series, a radio series, novels, comics, and more.

This brown fine fur felt bowler hat custom-made by Herbert Johnson Hatters of London was originally given by Macnee to the Michael Bolton Foundation for a charity auction, and features a brown ribbon band, white silk lining, and a brown leather sweatband along with Herbert Johnson labels and a size tag labelled "7 1/8 58." Also included is a black-and-white photograph of Macnee autographed by the actor in blue ink and inscribed with a note to the Michael Bolton Foundation. The sweatband bow exhibits fraying.
