A self-contained breathing apparatus with experimental "Deep Suit" diving suit and Benthic Explorer crane model miniature components from James Cameron's The Abyss. As Deepcore slid toward the trench, fires broke out in the compartments forcing the crew to don self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA) whilst fighting the flames. Later, foreman Virgil "Bud" Brigman (Ed Harris) donned an experimental fluid-breathing diving suit to descend into the trench and disarm the warhead.

This lot consists of one real-world SCBA with a yellow air tank and black rubber respirator mask acquired for the fire sequence; a pair of clear/pink-tinted acrylic domes from a Deep Suit helmet; two white foam Deep Suit helmet fluid side-attachments, one of which features metal components and three tubes; an orange plastic adjustable wrap; and a segment of gray plastic tubing with orange and white striping created as part of the key umbilical cable connecting the 1/14-scale Benthic Explorer crane and Deepcore miniatures. Also included are three warranty folders and a set of instructions for the SCBA. This lot exhibits chipped paint and foam; discoloration; adhesive residue; scuffing to the metal; and creasing on the papers.
