An N.T.I. Ark spire model miniature and N.T.I. Ark surface design maquette with 12 N.T.I. Ark design schematic art prints from the production of James Cameron's The Abyss. As Virgil "Bud" Brigman (Ed Harris) prepared to die, a non-terrestrial intelligence, or N.T.I., approached him, took his hand, and led him to the underwater city where other N.T.I.s saved not just him, but all aboard Deepcore as well.

This lot consists of one fiberglass N.T.I. Ark spire model miniature built by DreamQuest for motion-control filming embedded with fiber optic fibers; a foam N.T.I. Ark central "cross" component from the surface model miniature built by Fantasy II Film Effects; an unpainted plaster maquette of the N.T.I. Ark's organic surface detail sculpted by miniature designer Steve Burg; five panels of paint swatches for the color scheme of the N.T.I. Ark's surface hand-marked "1," "2," "4," "6," and "8," respectively, in black ink; and 12 11" x 17" (28 cm x 43.25 cm) production copies of concept artwork, four of which are designed to be tiled together to depict the full circular N.T.I. Ark. The model miniatures are painted in shades of blue, pink, and purple with a silver-color underside.
