A Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) Costume Display from McG's 2009 sci-fi sequel, Terminator: Salvation. In the fourth entry Terminator franchise, John Connor (Christian Bale) finds himself at odds with his fellow Resistance leaders while striving to protect his future father, Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) from the relentless attacks brought on by Skynet. This costume was distressed for Marcus' escape from the Resistance compound with Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood). Included in this set is a leather jacket, brown t-shirt, leather pants, appliance tights, and a pair of boots.
Marcus' leather jacket is a modified version of Blair's coat, as she trades outfits as a diversion tactic during Marcus' escape. This jacket is made from black leather and has a zipper closure with three metal snap buttons, and two false breast pockets. This piece has been heavily distressed by production to include battle wounds, and has spots of stage blood from squib usage. This is most evident inside the jacket where the lining has been cut away, revealing the remnants of squibs and wires.
Paired with the jacket is Marcus' brown t-shirt, which features a worn and shredded collar, along with small tears to simulate wear. Below the waste are his pants, which are made from leather. The pants feature a zipper fly and dual snap button closures on the front, while it's numerous pockets also feature zipper closures. These pants have been torn in numerous places by production, allowing Marcus' legs and machinery to be seen below. An inscription at the waistline reads 'Marcus Mesh Suit' in black ink. Worn under the pants are a pair of tights which have been outfitted with makeup appliances of wounds with exposed machinery. Also included are a pair of work boots made by Timberland Boot Company.
This costume comes presented on a display stand with a mannequin. The display stand has been made from Styrofoam over a wooden base with casters, allowing the piece to easily roll. The base has been decorated with rubble, along with a replica terminator head that has been embedded into the ground. Including the base, this costume display measures approximately 24" x 76" x 36" (61cm x 193cm x 91cm) and remains in very good condition despite the noted production wear.
