An endoskeleton nuclear power pack from McG’s 2009 sci-fi action sequel Terminator 4: Salvation.

In the fourth entry of the Terminator franchise, Connor finds himself at odds with his fellow Resistance leaders while striving to protect his future father, Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) from the relentless attacks brought on by Skynet.

Nuclear fuel cells were used to power T-800 Terminators such as those played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the film, the Resistance build a large bomb using the cells, with the intent of blowing up Skynet once and for all.

Made from moulded plastic, the rectangular power pack features realistic chrome treatment and intricate computer-like details to create its symmetrical, futuristic look. A clear acrylic central compartment houses a plastic block decorated to resemble a circuit board. Multiple electrical wires protrude from the back of the device, where it would be connected to a power supply to illuminate for the scene. The electrics in the piece no longer function.

Exhibiting intentional distressing, glue residue and production-based wear the power pack remains in very good overall condition.
