A special effects glove worn during the production of James Cameron’s sci-fi action sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Faced with a new threat, Skynet sends a more advanced terminator, the T-1000 (Robert Patrick) through its time machine to hunt down an adolescent John Connor (Edward Furlong). To prevent John’s death, Tech-Com send a reprogrammed Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to save Connor and help prevent Judgment Day by destroying Cyberdyne.
This style of glove was worn by the heroic T-800 Terminator for the scenes towards the end of the film as the T-800 begins to show signs of increasing battle damage in its fights with the T-1000. The left-handed black glove is made of leather with pieces of endoskeleton showing through the glove’s cuts and tears. Many of the gloves display much heavier degrees of damage and distressing, with this particular glove reasonably clean by comparison.

Featuring some wear from use, the glove remains in very good condition and is presented in a custom framed display featuring a laser-cut mount board and stills from the film.
