A full-size, battle-damaged statue display of The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In the film, the Terminator's clothes and synthetic skin were progressively damaged in his fight to protect Sarah (Linda Hamilton) and John Connor (Edward Furlong) from the more sophisticated T-1000 (Robert Patrick).
This full-size statue of the fearsome T-800 was created for display by legendary effects company Stan Winston Studio, whose founder and namesake won an Academy Award® for his team's groundbreaking special visual and makeup effects. It features disfigured silicone skin cast over a metalized resin endoskeleton with rubber and metal robot elements exposed at the left arm, prosthetic glass eyes (one a robotic red), and synthetic blonde hair hand-punched to the head and eyebrows. The statue comes dressed with a black leather biker jacket with a nylon bandolier thrown over the right shoulder, matching pants and boots, a beige cotton T-shirt, a brown leather belt, and a single leather glove on the right hand gripped around a foam-filled M79 grenade launcher, all of which are replicas based on the production originals.
Each component is expertly blood-stained, bullet-riddled, torn, or applied with grime to reflect the Terminator's final stand against his shape-shifting nemesis. The statue comes mounted via metal rods through its feet to a square wooden display base. It underwent sympathetic repair, including recoloring the hair to be the correct shade of brown as well as re-dyeing the glove to its correct shade of black. The wood exhibits grime and small nicks from shipping, and the statue should be handled with caution. Dimensions: 24" x 22" x 75" (61 cm x 56 cm x 190.5 cm)
