A set of Ninja Turtle costume components from Stuart Gillard's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. For the third film in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle trilogy, All Effects Company took over the creation of the animatronic turtle suits, giving them a unique appearance that differed slightly from those created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop for the first two films.
This lot, which originated from Eric Allard's All Effects Company's auction with auctioneer Coulter & Associates, consists of two legs, one set of eyelids, and one mouthpiece. These two green cast foam latex legs, one with its toenails painted brown that is marked "RL" and "R-S-9", featuring nylon straps that would attach them to the upper legs. The straps on one are purple and those on the other are orange, so the legs are believed to belong to Donatello (Jim Raposa) and Michelangelo (David Fraser) respectively. Also included is a foam latex section of skin with two eyelids, and a pink foam latex tongue attached to a black mesh and marked "LEO 1" with fastening strips around the edges for attaching it inside the mouth. The foam latex exhibits cracking, some tearing, and paint loss. Dimensions: (largest) 18" x 13" x 4" (45.75 cm x 33.25 cm x 10.25 cm)
