From the popular 12-chapter pre-Code adventure serial starring Buster Crabbe as Tarzan, this complete set of eight lobby cards from Chapter 8 ("The Creeping Terror") is unrestored and appears to be unused, with only one pinhole in each corner. The border artwork depicts Tarzan performing his famous jungle yell, and this set is in outstanding unrestored condition with excellent images of Buster Crabbe and the attractive leading lady Julie Bishop (billed as "Jacqueline Wells").

"Tarzan the Fearless" is a 12-chapter pre-Code serial starring Buster Crabbe in his only portrayal of Tarzan. It was also released as a 61-minute feature film, created by editing together the first four chapters. Originally, the feature was intended to be followed weekly by the remaining eight chapters in episodic format, but it was often screened as a standalone film. Actress Jacqueline Wells co-starred in the production, later adopting the stage name Julie Bishop. The serial was produced by Sol Lesser, written by Basil Dickey, George Plympton, and Walter Anthony (based on the character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs), and directed by Robert F. Hill. Both the serial and feature film versions premiered on August 11, 1933.
