Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan are beautifully depicted on this "Style A" three sheet stone lithograph, printed by Tooker for MGM. The lithograph consists of two sheets and is folded with an additional crease. This example shows some wear, including two edge tears and two chips on the upper border, as well as fold wear, sporadic separation, and a few small areas of paper loss. Featuring rich, bold colors, this unrestored piece would make a spectacular display. It would be a superb addition to any collection related to Tarzan or classic films of the 1930s.

The third film in the "Tarzan" series, based on the stories by Edgar Rice Burroughs, stars Olympic swimming champion Johnny Weissmuller and the beautiful Maureen O'Sullivan. The plot centers around a cunning hunter named John Buckler, who captures Tarzan with the intention of taking him back to civilization to put him on public display. The film faced several challenges, including a poor reception at its preview and the replacement of directors three times.
