Johnny Weissmuller stars as Tarzan as he protects Maureen O'Sullivan from the dangers of the jungle on this impressive insert from MGM. This example had been folded but has been professionally backed with paper and expertly restored. The restoration includes touch-ups around the folds to address general wear, as well as sporadic airbrushing in the upper light blue area to fix a tiny tear and occasional creases. The borders also received airbrushing to correct edge wear, including nicks and small tears. The restoration work was done very well, and this poster presents beautifully as a piece from the third film in MGM's "Tarzan" series.

The third picture in the "Tarzan" series based on the stories by Edgar Rice Burroughs and starring Olympic swimming star Johnny Weissmuller and the lovely Maureen O'Sullivan, this one concerns a devious hunter (John Buckler) who captures Tarzan and intends to take him back to civilization to be put on public display.
