425. Framed Baby Baboon Multi-Layer Cel and Production Background

A framed cel setup featuring the baby baboon from Walt Disney's Tarzan, composed of two cel layers, including one overlay, and presented on its original key master production background.
While the film was digitally animated using the ground-breaking "Deep Canvas" technology, this cel setup was created post-production by Disney artists using original production drawings. Each cel was hand-inked and painted as part of a limited collector release to honour the traditional animation craft.
The image shows the young baboon clutching a bright yellow banana leaf in a dense, atmospheric jungle clearing. The background is beautifully detailed with cut bamboo, textured underbrush, and a rich palette that evokes the depth and mystery of the jungle setting.
It is a charming and well-composed piece, issued in Disney's original studio mat and frame and bearing the official Walt Disney seal. Dimensions (framed): 48.25 cm x 63.5 cm x 3 cm (19" x 25" x 1.25")
