A pair of Water and Power corporation soldier goggles with drill gun and belt from Rachel Talalay's Tank Girl. Soldiers issued by Kesslee (Malcolm McDowell) to subject and police the population wore high tech military gear throughout the film, including when they raided the commune where Rebecca "Tank Girl" Buck (Lori Petty) lived. Later, Tank Girl and Jet Girl (Naomi Watts) made modifications to the tank Tank Girl stole. In a comic-book style montage, Tank Girl is seen wielding a drill gun with a large twist bit.
This lot consists of one pair of black goggles with a metal circuit board attached to the front, and a futuristic-style drill gun with a long twisted bit attached to a belt. The belt features a box with a motherboard-like top containing various greebles and connectors. The interior of the mask is hand-marked "Go ber[sic]" in black ink on green tape. The goggles were previously displayed in Room 2364 of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas. This lot exhibits a buildup of grime and flaked paint. Dimensions: 26" x 10" x 3" (66 cm x 25.5 cm x 7.75 cm)
