An original 'Periscope Worm' puppet featured in the 2008 British family adventure Tales of the Riverbank. The heart warming live action movie is populated entirely by puppets and follows the tale of Hammy the Hamster, Roderick the Rat and GP the Guinea Pig in their quest to stop the Fat Cats destroying their beloved Riverbank! Halfway through the movie the team encounter the underground resistant movement dubbed "B.U.R.P" who employ periscope worms as surface surveillance, this being one of those quirky little characters.
Made as an armature puppet the original cables and control block are still present and the figure can be manipulated in six different directions, covered in a foam latex body painted a pinky brown colour complete with shiny black eyes. The body measures 48cm (19") long, the cables add another 198cm (78"). He is in excellent condition with only a small hole halfway down revealing the frame beneath and some light dust and fur from its use on set.
