James Keziah Delaney's (Tom Hardy) Pistol from the 2017 BBC TV series Taboo, produced by Scott Free London and Hardy Son & Baker.
Adventurer James Keziah Delaney (Tom Hardy), long believed to be dead, returns home to London from Africa in 1814 in order to inherit his late father's shipping empire. All is not what it seems, however, as Delaney encounters numerous enemies intent on making his life back in the United Kingdom very difficult.
This item is made of hard rubber painted to look like wood and metal, with a metal armature. The 'metal' elements have authentic-looking engravings on them, the word ‘TOWER’ and a royal crest. This prop is seen in the first episode of the show, as Delaney retrieves it from a drawer and hands it to his father’s former servant, Brace (David Hayman). Delaney also uses it in the third episode to stop Lorna (Jessie Buckley) being kidnapped, and he fires a working version of the pistol during a street fight in the eight episode.
This item shows some slight signs of production use, handling and storage, including a crack on the hammer, but nevertheless remains in very good condition.
Materials: Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
