A Fortress of Solitude Kryptonian Crystal of Knowledge from Richard Donner's Superman. Kryptonian Crystals of Knowledge rose to meet Kal-El (Christopher Reeve), known on Earth as both Superman and his alter ego, Clark Kent, when he summoned the consciousness of his father Jor-El (Marlon Brando) in the Fortress of Solitude.

The crystals that made up his otherworldly Arctic Retreat, such as this one, were memory crystals that contained the accumulated knowledge of Krypton, Superman's destroyed homeworld. These crystals were Superman's only surviving connection to his ancestors and the history of his people.

This custom-made shard is constructed from clear, multifaceted resin and features a unique, crystalline shape with pointed ends. Production drilled a hole through one end for mounting to a larger piece. The points are dulled and the resin exhibits minor scratches and smudging throughout from production use and handling. Dimensions: 18.25" x 1.25" x 1.25" (46 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm)
