Clark Kent's (Nicolas Cage) gray suit from Tim Burton's unproduced Superman Lives. The film planned to follow Superman feeling displaced amongst humanity and eventually facing off against villains Brainiac, Doomsday, and Lex Luthor. During pre-production, Burton and Cage worked closely with the costume department to create the re-imagined Superman and Clark Kent alter ego. Behind-the-scenes test footage, the only remaining media from this unmade film, revealed Cage in a suit like this one, wearing browline glasses and long hair.

Originating from Warner Brothers, this lot consists of a two-piece gray suit from Dominic Gherardi. Both the coat and the pants feature a Gherardi tag printed with "Nick Cage" "March 1998." Notably, production ceased a month before filming was to start in April 1998.
