A Fortress of Solitude crystal cluster from the production of the Richard Donner's movie Superman.

Sent to Earth from his home planet of Krypton, Kal-el (Christopher Reeve) is raised by humans and grows to become the honest and true Clark Kent, while also taking on the identity of Superman to protect the people of Earth.

Crystals formed the set for the Fortress of Solitude, Superman’s occasional headquarters based in the Arctic which appears in both Superman and Superman II. Cast from clear resin, the piece has roughly angled cuts creating a clustered crystalline appearance.

The crystal cluster has discoloured over time and displays surface wear from production use. A line drawn in blue marker is present on the back of the piece. However, in spite of this wear, the piece remains in overall very good condition.
