A framed storyboard copy used in the 1984 production of Supergirl, directed by Jeannot Szwarc.
A spin-off of the Superman series starring Christopher Reeve, the film follows the story of Kara Zor-El who becomes Supergirl (Helen Slater) in her quest to recover the powerful Omegahedron and thwart the evil plans of the witch Selena (Faye Dunaway).
This page features an illustration of Supergirl fighting a fire-breathing demon summoned by Selena during the film's final confrontation. The scene is pictured from behind Supergirl with the demon filling much of the frame. The page features the words 'PRODUCTION: SUPERGIRL' printed at the top left corner and is marked '86' beneath this in handwriting. Beneath the picture the words 'THE DEMON ON SELENAS COMMAND MOVES TOWARD SUPERGIRL BREATHING HIS FIRERY BREATH' are printed.
Printed on pink US Legal-sized paper, the page is hole-punched at the top, indicating that it would have been held together in sequence with the rest of the storyboard pages. It comes framed in a custom-built display with laser-cut mount board etched with the iconic movie title.
