A large Omegahedron container used in the 1984 superhero movie Supergirl. Flying to Earth to try and save her home, Kryptonian superbeing Kara Zor-El (Helen Slater) must do battle with aspiring witch Selena (Faye Dunaway) to reclaim the Omegahedron for the good of Argo City.
This style of terrifying sculpture was used by Selena to house the Omegahedron, a source of immense power that allowed her to perform. The piece is made from fibreglass which has been sculpted to look as though it is made from cast metal. The creature itself features an incredible amount of detail including hooves on the rear legs, talons on the front, a pentagram on its snarling skull head, a pair of folded wings and a pointed curled tail. It is constructed in two sections which sit comfortably together to look like a sealed unit, with only a select few knowing what is hidden inside. Created for the film but ultimately unfinished, the monster has traces of gold paint present on the skull.

Displaying some signs of wear from its time in use on the production, this Omegahedron container remains in excellent condition for its age.
