A hand-painted poster concept artwork for the promotion of Jeannot Szwarc's superhero film Supergirl. This impressive image was created by artist Chris Achilleos, who was commissioned by Warner Bros' European headquarters. However, it was ultimately unused due to a change of distribution rights.

The design features Supergirl (Helen Slater) standing atop planet Earth, with clouds and a star field in the background, and the film's title at the bottom. It is rendered in airbrushed waterproof inks on illustration board, and signed and dated 1984. Displaying minor wear around the bottom edge, the artwork remains in very good condition. Dimensions: 108 cm x 78 cm (42 1/2" x 30 3/4")
