This hand-painted poster concept art of Supergirl (Helen Slater) is rendered in mixed media on illustration board and signed "LM" in the lower right corner and affixed with a silver-colored and gray "Supergirl" title. The artwork exhibits minor wear to the edges of the board. This design was apparently not used for the film's final poster campaign.

"Supergirl" is a British superhero film directed by Jeannot Szwarc and written by David Odell, serving as a spin-off of the Superman series after "Superman III". Starring Helen Slater as Supergirl, with Faye Dunaway, Peter O'Toole, Mia Farrow, and Marc McClure reprising Jimmy Olsen, it was released in the UK in July and the US in November 1984.
