Miniature spaceship components from the production of Danny Boyle’s 2007 sci-fi thriller Sunshine. A crew ventured into space with a device designed to revive the dying Sun. Two spaceships appeared in the film: the Icarus I and the Icarus II. Both were designed with a manned section and a payload section. The ships were damaged when their airlocks explosively decoupled. In a later sequence, the Icarus II exploded.

The lot includes several miniature spaceship components made primarily of grey, white and gold-coloured resin. They include robotic arms, thrusters, antennae, panels, airlock doors and a twisted satellite, at the rear of which is electrical wiring. Several components have signage and serial numbers. The lot is good production-used condition, with several items intentionally distressed.

Materials: Resin, Non-Ferrous Metals.
