A tambourine played during the studio recording of the track "Love Spreads" by the Mancunian rock band The Stone Roses. This lot comes from the personal collection of renowned UK music producer and sound engineer Nick Brine.
Brine played this tambourine in the final cut of the track, which was recorded at Rockfield Studios. "Love Spreads" was the first single off the band's second album, Second Coming.
This tambourine comprises a plastic frame, a rubber grip, and 15 nickel jingles. It was originally designed to have 20 jingles, but five are now missing. Dimensions: 28 cm x 22 cm x 5 cm (11" x 8.75" x 2")

This lot comes from the personal collection of producer and sound engineer Nick Brine. Beginning his career in 1996, Brine has worked in major studios and collaborated with iconic artists including Oasis, The Verve, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, The Stone Roses, Brian May / Roger Taylor (Queen), Nick Cave and many more. Brine now runs independent label Flip Flop Records, offering label services and helping artists progress in the music industry.
