Steven Spielberg's personal glasses, circa mid-1980s. Spielberg wore glasses throughout most of his illustrious career, on film sets, at premieres and awards shows, and in his private life.

Spielberg, one of the most famous and celebrated film directors in movie history, won three Academy Award® out of 23 nominations, including a record 13 nominations for Best Picture. Seven films were inducted into the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

These glasses were originally gifted by Spielberg to one of his former staff members. This lot features wire-frame glasses with temple labeling reading "Renaissance Frame Italy" and a hard case reading "Giorgio Armani Made in Italy." They exhibit scuffing, yellowing to the nose pads, and deep scratches on the right side of the case. Dimensions: 6.25" x 3" x 1.5" (16 cm x 7.75 cm x 4 cm)
