Otter, Sandee, and Rake SFX E-Pulse 44 rifles from Phil Tippett’s science fiction action sequel Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation. Members of the Mobile Infantry are seen throughout the film using this style of rifle to battle Bugs. Phil Tippett directed and produced this sequel to the 1997 science fiction cult classic Starship Troopers.

These rifles are produced from vacuformed plastic combined with resin components. Painted grey and black, the gun’s body features decals of Warrior Bugs near its barrel. Each gun is labeled with its respective character for the film. Characters included in this lot are Billie Otter (Cy Carter), Jill Sandee (Sandrine Holt), and Dede Rake (Brenda Strong). Each rifle has dried stage blood dried to its body. Dede Rake’s stock reads ‘THE BUG STOPS HERE’ and is partially separated from the rest of the rifle. A metal door is fastened into the top portion of each rifle and covers a battery compartment. This battery powers electronics that cause a strobe light at the barrel of the rifle to illuminate with trigger depression.

The electronics in each rifle have not been tested and it is unknown if they are still functional. Showing some signs of wear from production use, these rifles are in overall good condition. Dimensions (each): 39” x 12” x 9” (99 cm x 30.5 cm x 23 cm)
