Medic helmet from the production of Paul Verhoeven’s 1997 sci-fi classic Starship Troopers.

Recruited into the Earth Federation’s Mobile Infantry, high schooler Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien) goes through the trials of service within the Federation military as war with the alien Arachnids takes him from Earth to the far corners of the galaxy.

This helmet and others like it were made for the production and are worn by medics serving in the Mobile Infantry. They are most notably seen when Career Sgt. Zim (Clancy Brown) breaks the arm of one of his cadets and medics rush to his aid. The helmet is made of fibreglass with foam padding on the inside. It features a padded chinstrap and the medic insignia on the front.

It has some minor wear from production use and age, including a circular crack on the top. It also features some scuffing and scratches, and the foam has disintegrated in a couple of places, but it is in an otherwise excellent condition.
