Tigers jump ball player and cheerleader costume from Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi satire Starship Troopers. Cheerleaders encouraged the Tigers when they played jump ball against the Giants.

This lot consists of a foam-padded black plastic Tigers-branded ice hockey helmet; a matching Lycra jersey numbered "14"; matching lace-up trousers (size M) with crash pads on the shins and an interior tag labeled "Starship Troopers Jump Ball"; matching sneakers; a black and orange Lycra cheerleading tank-top; and a matching Lycra skirt hand-marked "Sony W." Also included are two replica Tigers gloves and matching replica pom poms added to complete both costumes. They exhibit some loosening Lycra from age and staining throughout from production wear.
