Bugs, spaceships, and trooper concept art prints from Paul Verhoeven’s science fiction action film Starship Troopers. Several elaborate battles with bug armies were meticulously planned using storyboards throughout production. Phil Tippett is credited as Creature Visual Effects Supervisor for the film.Tippett was nominated for Best Visual Effects for his work on this film at the 70th Academy Awards^®.

This lot consists of forty-two production used prints of artwork depicting designs for the Bugs, spaceships, and troopers seen throughout the film. These images are stored in a manila folder.

Showing signs of wear from production use these storyboards are in overall good production used condition. Dimensions (each): 12” x 9” (30.5 cm x 23 cm)
