Tau'ri communication stones and a communication device from the sci-fi television series Stargate Universe. Humans - known throughout the galaxy as Tau'ri - created their own version of the Alteran communication device. One such device was brought onto the Destiny by Col. Everett Young (Louis Ferreria) after the attack on Icarus Base during the first episode.

Unlike other variants of the device, this one is box-shaped with a flat top. Five overlapping circles show where the stones sit, and there is a space for inserting a removable power cell. The device features exposed cabling and circuit boards around the edges, as well as two USB ports and two jack ports. A switch on one side was used to illuminate the device while powered.

The stones are made of blue resin, and are decorated with alien text and patterns. They are secured to the top of the device with magnets. The device and stones come with a padded metal carrying case, but do not have cables to power them. Both the stones and the device show wear from production use, including scuffs and scratches. Dimensions (device): 23 cm x 21 cm x 7 cm (9" x 8 1/4" x 2 3/4"); (each stone): 6 cm x 5 cm x 2 cm (2 1/4" x 2" x 3/4")
