This is a Sodan staff weapon from the popular science fiction series Stargate SG-1. The Sodan are a group of rebel Jaffa. In Season 9: Episode 8 "Babylon," Lt. Col. Mitchell is attacked by a group of Sodan carrying these staff weapons; Mitchell takes one of his enemy's staffs and fights them until he's captured. This staff weapon is made of bronzed hard rubber, with green accents to give it the look of aged copper. Designed exactly like the Jaffa staff weapons but shorter, this weapon was more practical for close combat. Etched into the rubber are the same lines and symbols which can be seen on a Jaffa staff and it features the same intricate mechanical detail, too. Measuring 53" (135cm) long, this piece is in great condition with light wear due to production use. A Certificate of Authenticity from MGM Studios is included.
