A Jaffa Ma’Tok Staff used in the popular science fiction series Stargate SG-1. This is the primary weapon used by the Goa'uld army and their Jaffa supporters. On the show, the staff would shoot an energy blast out of one end and featured a decorative heavy head on the opposite end for balance during close quarters combat. This long Ma’Tok staff was made with an oval shaped head for the barrel, and a large paddle that can be used for melee attacks. The staff is entirely built from resin which was painted in a dark, aged copper finish with accents of purple at the back of the handle, and the center of the paddle. The copper sections feature small blotches of green tarnish that are added to the finish, and the handle, along with each end are detailed with decorative lines which were etched into the resin.
This item has a minor bend in the thinner section of the staff, along with some wear to the paint, revealing the underlying white resin, but remains in overall good condition
