An Asgard Obelisk Transporter used in episode 505 ‘Red Sky’ of the hit sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. In this episode, SG-1 lands on a 16th century era planet that worships Freyr of Asgard. This obelisk is used to transport worshipers to a cave where they communicate with Freyr.
This large prop is constructed from wood and has a textured exterior that makes the piece appear made from stone. Each side features intricate designs and the front contains a resign plate with an acrylic stone in the center. The reverse side has a hole cut out where electronics were once placed by the production crew. Showing some signs of wear from age and storage, such as scrapes on the edges, this piece is in overall good production-used condition.
