"Star Wars has been a large part of my life since I saw Return of the Jedi in 1983," the artist says. "The artists and crafts people behind these films continue to inspire me, so much so that I now create licensed Star Wars art as part of my career." To Penix, Star Wars locations can be as memorable as the characters. For his Death Star he decided to feature the trash compactor and had a fun way to showcase the dianoga. Inside the globe, just above the creature is a battery-operated LED touch light.
