A collection of C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) hand greeblies (pronounced GREE-BLEEZ) from various Star Wars productions. This lot comprises six near complete greeblies from the back of C-3PO's hands; two partial greeblies; and three pairs of poppers, which were used to secure the hands across the wrists. Four of the greeblies are made of aluminum, indicating they are from the original trilogy; two are made of resin and two are rubber, indicating they were made for later films. All have been painted a gold-color but the older metal pieces have had the gold wear away. One of the pieces shows signs of repair, and one of the poppers has snapped in half. Dimensions (each): 2.5" x 0.5" x 0.25" (6.5 cm x 1.25 cm x 0.75 cm)
This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first appeared in the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars feature films to date.
