A C-3PO undersuit with elements from various films in George Lucas' Star Wars franchise. Anthony Daniels wore undersuits beneath his iconic golden costume and would change these at least twice a day.

The black undersuit comprises a cotton hood; a leotard with a front zipper; a pair of long gloves; and a pair of elasticated nylon Capezio® tights. Square patches are sewn onto the knees and elbows of the leotard. The elbow patches feature printed intersecting coloured stripes, while the knee patches feature coloured string-like plastic embellishments, in both cases to represent electrical wires. The printed wire elements are from Return of the Jedi and the plastic wire embellishments are from the prequel trilogy era.

Additional Provenance: This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first appeared in the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars feature films to date.
