A rare original lightsaber prop featuring the simplified “smooth handle” configuration used for high-speed duel choreography. The hilt omits raised control buttons and pommel cubes, with these elements rendered as painted details to provide a smoother, more comfortable grip for Ewan McGregor during action sequences, including the Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul duel. Engraved at the pommel end “JAK LSS 05”, denoting JAK Productions (Jet, Amanda, and Katie Lucas) and Lightsaber Stunt; applied at the end of production. This example was subsequently gifted to a production assistant.
