A battle droid from the production of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. These battle damaged droids were used to litter the field as the Naboo and Jedi fought to reclaim the palace against the Trade Federation's droid army and Sith Darth Maul (Ray Park). Made of plastic, the droid has been smashed into a number of components, with plastic, metal and polystyrene dress-up components used for the joints, damaged components and to create melted blaster damage. The armour of the droid is finished in the standard uniform tan and brown with black and silver paint used to pick out the eyes, panel detailing and blown apart sections of armour and limbs. The piece displays cracks along the joins in the chest plate and some cracking along other panels, however the droid remains in very good condition. The droid is mounted on a custom-made display base, dynamically crafted to allow the piece to be displayed in an action pose of the Droid exploding from the Jedi's attack.
