A pair of Maz Kanata's (Lupita Nyong'o) hands from J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Maz gave Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber to Finn (John Boyega) after Rey (Daisy Ridley) refused to take it.

Kanata was brought to life with a combination of computer-generated imagery and state-of-the-art motion-capture technology. While the character's face and body were largely digital, various individual costume parts were created for effects inserts, then enhanced with makeup and CGI in the final cut.

These gloves were designed to appear as Kanata's unclothed arms and hands. Constructed from foam latex, they are hand-painted with the character's tawny skin tone, and displayed on a custom-made stand comprised of a wooden base and rods. The hands can be removed from the stand.

Some of the nails exhibit a loss of material, revealing the cotton mesh underneath the foam latex. Dimensions (on display): 19 cm x 10 cm x 46.5 cm (7.5" x 4" x 18.25")
