A Phil Tippett-autographed storyboard from the production of Irvin Kershner's 1980 Star Wars film, The Empire Strikes Back.
This storyboard features a printed illustration of a view of space through the window of the Millennium Falcon’s cockpit. Beneath this illustration is a short printed description with technical information about the shot and award-winning visual effects artist Tippett’s autograph signed in black pen. It has been printed on pink paper, noted as a revision with the date ’11.27.79’ and is labelled as shot “HE11”. It features three hole-punches at the top, indicating that it would have been held together in sequence with the rest of the storyboard pages.
The storyboard is presented in a custom-made display featuring a laser-cut mount board and the film's iconic logo. It remains in excellent condition.
