Star Wars: Star Tours

Hand-Drawn Storyboard #28 - A Comet Appears

Stock #77282

A framed, hand-drawn, production-used storyboard from the original Disneyland Park attraction Star Tours. Opened in 1987, this version of the ride operated until its 2011 update featuring parts of the Star Wars universe that were added since the ride's opening. This storyboard was drawn by artist Dave Carson and shows what is happening during a specific moment of the ride. The images are drawn on a separate piece of paper which has been attached to a storyboard template. While this storyboard is similar to ones used for traditional film production, it has the unique qualities of showing the position of RX-24 and the secondary display which is positioned to the left of the screen in the ride. It comes framed in a custom built, laser-cut mount and is framed. This piece shows some signs of wear from age and use but remains in overall good condition.
