An officially-licensed replica of Darth Sidious' (Ian McDiarmid) lightsaber from George Lucas' Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. In the film, Sith Lord Sidious wielded his signature red lightsaber - one of two he built as an apprentice to Darth Plagueis - to kill Jedi Masters Kit Fisto (Ben Cooke), Saesee Tiin (Kenji Oates), and Agen Kolar (Tux Akindoyeni) before Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson) knocked it out the broken window of the office Sidious used as Senator Sheev Palpatine.
This limited-edition lightsaber, numbered "0877" of the 4,000 units produced, was created by Master Replicas using high-quality machined and die-cast components based on a laser scan of the original prop from the Lucasfilm Archives. Designed as a gilded reflection of Darth Sidious' venality and ambition, this exactingly detailed weapon features such regal details as 18k gold plating and an antiqued brass emitter as seen in the film.
