This lot will be auctioned on Thursday, November 3rd. An Ewok head from the production of Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Legendary make-up artist Stuart Freeborn oversaw the creation of the Ewoks on the film, as well as iconic characters Yoda, Chewbacca and Jabba the Hutt. This head was created by piecing together original production-made components from Freeborn's workshop.

The head is made from foam and rubber and is covered in faux fur. It has a foam nose, ears and lips, with acrylic eyes and resin teeth. "J.C." is handwritten in marker inside the top of the head and a sticker on its interior notes that it was assembled by sculptor and FX artist Tom Spina.
