Two spare C-3PO undersuit patches and a pair of gloves from Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Anthony Daniels wore black undersuits beneath his iconic golden exterior and would change these at least twice a day. The black gloves are mismatched, with one made of brushed polycotton and the other an elasticated black material. The square patches of black elasticated material each feature printed "wires". The patches exhibit some loose threading around the edges where they have been cut. Dimensions: (patches) 7" x 7.25" (17.5 cm x 18 cm)
This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first appeared in the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars feature films to date.
