Jabba the Hutt eyes and concept artwork from the production of Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The materials in this lot were created at various stages in the construction of the slimy, suppurating Hutt puppet.

The lot consists of two sheets of hand-drawn concept artwork of Jabba believed to have been rendered and annotated with proportions such as "3 3/16 ft" and "6 3/4 ft" by animatronics engineer John Coppinger, who sculpted the full-size Hutt puppet; an eight-page "Revenge of the Jedi" puppet modeling purchase order made by creature and makeup designer Stuart Freeborn; a photograph of the Jabba model with Freeborn's handwritten annotations; four unfinished fiberglass eye casts; eight miniature plastic eye casts; and 10 plastic baggies containing various painted foam latex pieces of Jabba puppet eyelids. This materials used to make the eyelids are now fragile from age, and the paperwork exhibits minor discoloration and tearing. Dimensions: (largest) 10.5" x 13" x 2.5" (26.75 cm x 33 cm x 6.5 cm)
