An Ewok head assembled using original production items from Star Wars Return Of The Jedi. The items (including original fur, foam latex Ewok face and ears, acrylic eyes, teeth and internal components) were all obtained from the original creator of the Ewoks for the film, Stuart Freeborn. This particular head features a nearly complete set of original, production-made acrylic teeth, the last ones available for use from Mr. Freeborn’s archive. The completion was guided by first-hand examination of screen used heads and careful finish work was done using paints formulated for foam latex work, hand laid original Ewok fur and a Velcro closure on the back. This unique piece has been assembled by Tom Spina (www.TomSpinaDesigns.com) in a manner that is very sympathetic to the work of Stuart Freeborn and is as close to an original screen used Ewok mask as possible. Showing minimal signs of wear this piece is in overall great condition.
