Foam pieces from the Salacc from Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Jabba the Hutt attempted to feed Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) to the colossal subterranean Sarlacc by dropping them into the desert pit through which the Sarlacc's open mouth emerged. Following production, much of the set built in the Yuma Desert for the Sarlacc scene was scrapped, but excavations undertaken by fans in the years that followed unearthed some remnants of the massive foam Sarlacc mouth.

This lot consists of 11 pieces of yellow foam with cracking remnants of brown paint. They exhibit drying, crumbling, and black residue from old adhesive or paint. Dimensions: (largest) 2.5" x 2" x 2" (6.5 cm x 5.25 cm x 5.25 cm)
